Get ready for a culinary showdown at Roux Wars, where teams of chefs will compete to create the most flavorful dishes at the May the Fourth Be With You Festival!
Teams are encouraged to cook festival-themed dishes, but any type of food is welcome. The competition is fierce, and only the tastiest creations will win the crowd’s approval.
important details
- Entry Fee: $100 (non-refundable). Proceeds benefit M4 Louisiana’s chosen recipients.
- Team Requirements: Each team must prepare enough servings for 300 people.
- Prep Work: Cutting vegetables and meats is allowed before arrival; no cooking beforehand except for approved plain rice or noodles.
- Booth Setup: Teams must bring all equipment, ingredients, and setup items. M4 Louisiana will provide sample bowls, utensils, and napkins. Set-up starts at 6 a.m., and vehicles must be removed by 8 a.m. Cooking may begin after setup. Max booth size: 10 ft. x 10 ft.
- Booth Assignment: Booths are assigned based on payment order. No political signage allowed.
